For children aged 5 to 9
At Christmas dinner one place is empty, because somebody could not be there this year. The main character notices everyone talking around it. They think of a way to bring that person to the table anyway: the empty chair becomes the place where something of theirs sits, and everyone tells a story about them. It turns into a warmer evening than anyone expected.
The names you fill in run through the whole book, and with a photo the illustrations really look like the people in it. You choose the illustration style yourself.
This story is written for children aged 5 to 9. You can read it to a younger child too; the text stays the same.
This is the starting point: one chair too many, and everyone pretending otherwise. You add your own details when you fill in the form, and once the preview is ready you can still change the text and the illustrations before you order.
You see the entire digital book first, free, from the cover to the last page. Only when you approve it do you order the printed version: hardcover 21x21 cm, printed and shipped within three working days.
