Frequently asked questions
Is a farewell book the same as a memorial book? v
No, and that is exactly the point. A farewell book from us is warm and celebratory: a cheerful tribute to someone who is retiring or moving on. It is not about sadness, but a celebration of all the lovely moments and the people around them.
How do I collect contributions from colleagues, family or friends? v
You ask everyone for a photo and a few lines: a memory, a wish or a funny anecdote. You gather it all and send it to us. We turn it into a beautiful whole, even if the contributions arrive loose and in no particular order.
Can I order a single copy, or several? v
Either works. Often a single luxury copy is the gift for the guest of honour, but we can also print extra copies so everyone who contributed has one of their own to keep.
How long does it take to make a farewell book? v
Allow roughly one to two weeks from the moment you supply the photos and contributions, including a proof. Working to a tight deadline for the send-off or the drinks? Let us know and we will think along about what is achievable.
Do I see the book before it is printed? v
Always. You receive a complete proof and only after your approval does it go to print. That way you can be sure every name, photo and memory is right, with no surprises afterwards.
