A book with the two of you as the main characters

A card is read once and put down. A book with both of you in it stays out, and only really gets read the second time. That is the whole difference, and it is also why this takes more effort than flowers.

The names run through the whole story and you are both drawn as you look. Upload a photo of the two of you and the illustrations genuinely resemble you. We tested that before building this page, because adult faces are harder than children's faces: across a full 25-page book the likeness held.

The stories below are about something specific rather than about love in general. An evening that got out of hand, a bench you keep returning to, the way the other one makes coffee. That works better than grand statements, and it is easier to put something of yourselves into.

What you type matters: give a few real details, because the story is built around them. The name of that café, what went wrong that evening, the joke that keeps coming back. Without those you get a pleasant book about two people in general.

The book takes about half an hour to make and you see it immediately in a free preview, page by page. Only when it is right does it go to print, arriving within eight working days. Allow for that if it needs to be on the table on 14 February.

One thing up front so you are not surprised: the text rhymes, four lines per page. That is how our books are written and it makes the result lighter than you might expect from a love story. If you want prose, this is not that book.
